There are three stages of the selction process:

Stage 1- Essays describing a particular aspect of your fitment to the PGP at ISB.

If selected, you continue to the next round of essays and GMAT/GRE

(Deadlines- March 25th)

Stage 2- Submit your essays and GMAT/GRE scores. Here you will have to write two essays, usually about your career goals, and an aspect of leadership that ISB looks for. The topics may vary each year.

(Deadline- August 31st)

If selected, you will be called to ISB campus at Hyderabad for an interview round.

(After selection, you will need to work for two years and then come to ISB to start classes. Similar to Harvard's 2+2 Program)

Suggestion: You must give yourself 2-3 months time to come up with your essays, especially if this is your first time.

YLP 2018

The Essays are not the typical poetic or literary masterpieces that one would think they would be. The focus rather is on the clarity of thoughts, brevity and substance. It may take a few months or several drafts to come up with a good version. For ISB, these essays are a mirror to your true self, so they carry a lot of importance in the selection criteria.

Start Early to give yourself the best chance of getting into ISB.

An ISB YLP admit could help you land a coveted and high paying job across most sectors in India and globally even before  you join ISB two years later.
