The Assignment:
Pick up any chapter from the book 'Finding Shiva' and write a riveting teaser for it. Word limit for that is 120 words.
The teaser should mention what the chapter is all about without divulging the specific details of it. It should create curiosity in the mind of the audience about the chapter.
And/Or
Pick up any chapter in the book and record a riveting teaser for it. Time limit for that is 60 seconds.
Example: “Hey, did you know that the law of conservation of energy is not really a universal truth. I didn’t. Nor did I know that concept of what was there before the Big Bang is actually mentioned in the Vedas. And surprisingly enough, it has interesting similarities with the modern scientific understanding of the early life of our universe. Not just that, the modern concept of Multiverse has a lot of similarities with the multiverse that Lord Krishna spoke about. Finding Shiva has been a revelation for me in understanding so many things about science and Indian mythologies. I highly recommend anyone who loves science and science fiction to read Finding Shiva.”

Tips:
1. Choose a topic that you like the most from the 21 chapters in ‘Finding Shiva’ except Chapter-1. Usually, people who connect with a content at a deeper level, write about it better.
2. Usually, a chapter that receives the maximum number of entries will have the most competition quantitively and qualitatively. If you have finalized more than one chapter, you could opt for a chapter that you feel is tricky and will have least entries.
3. Usually, fewer people submit video teasers compared to simple write-ups. You could choose to submit both and have a greater chance of catching the eyes of the adjudicators.
4. Try talking a little about what to expect in the chapter. Creating a sense of excitement always impresses judges.
